The NCGCP, between 1984 and 1990 maintained observation and data collection of 117 glaciers in the North Cascades, Washington State, USA, which contains about 725 glaciers, with the aim of identifying the response of these glaciers to climate change and variability over time. From this site, users may browse results and data describing glacier mass balance, frontal retreat and shrinkage, glacier runoff and climate. Users may learn about future plans for the project, contact project members and browse lists of publications spawned by this project.
