The triennial UN World Water Development Report is a joint undertaking of 24 UN agencies in partnership with governments and other stakeholders, and coordinated by WWAP. WWDR2 will be launched during World Water Day, on 22 of March 2006, at the 4th World Water Forum in Mexico City, Mexico.This UN-wide programme seeks to develop the tools and skills needed to achieve a better understanding of those basic processes, management practices and policies that will help improve the supply and quality of global freshwater resources.
