    当前,液化天然气支持者正展开紧张游说,力求避免拖延,他们主张,暂停项目审批可能推迟最终投资决策,甚至可能导致部分拟议项目流产。他们强调,利用美国天然气替代煤炭发电,有助于减轻全球气候变化负担。他们还指出,暂停液化天然气出口审批将损害欧洲盟友利益,后者在俄乌冲突后依赖美国天然气填补俄罗斯供应空缺。
