  • 约阿希姆.冯.布朗:德国波恩大学发展研究中心主任、德国波恩大学经济学和技术变革学科教授: 关于食品危机,我们尚未处于“后危机”阶段。食品安全(充足、健康和营养丰富的食物的可及性及可获得性)事关国家的安宁和人民的幸福。2007-2010年间相互交织的食品和经济危机加剧了食品和营养不安全。食品危机先于经济危机,随后又伴随着经济衰退。在食品和能源价格的通胀压力作用下,食品危机很可能会加速经济衰退。食品不仅和能源市场紧密相连,同样和金融市场也密切关联,这些关联给贫困人口,尤其是最不发达国家的贫困人口带来新的风险和不确定性。 2007-08年全球粮食价格危机是众多原因导致的结果,比如许多发展中国家忽视对农业进行投资,工业化国家不合理的农业补贴政策。价格危机由恶劣气候事件触发,进而受出口限制、不合理的商品贸易调控以及投机买卖进一步恶化。此外,最根本的原因是对食品、营养和农业缺乏管理,尤其是缺乏全球层面的管理。

I missed the first part of your meeting since I am just coming from a meeting on Campylobacter which is being held in Atlanta.
