The purpose of this page is to provide a multi-lingual link for all individuals and organizations interested in, and working on food security and related development issues in Latin America and the Caribbean, and elsewhere throughout the hemisphere. At present the page includes postings of information of immediate relevance to those involved with LACSA issues, links to other entities with similar agendas, and links to other sources of relevant information. The page will eventually provide access to an information authority (MADRE) currently in development.MADRE will archive and provide access to information on Sustainable Human-Natural Systems, Participative Democratic Processes and Structures, Active-Adaptive Behavior, Community-based Development, etc., in addition to LACSA specific issues. Information available from MADRE will take many forms, and will include published, and unpublished documents (so-called "grey literature") and communications provided by LACSA and IIRM collaborators throughout the world.
