  • As part of NASA's Science Mission Directorate, NASA Oceanography conducts ocean observing satellite missions and research projects. Visitors to this web site can obtain information on these missions and projects, as well as on the NASA Oceanography partnerships and education efforts. This site also provides access to pages on climate variability, the ocean and the carbon cycle, and the water cycle.

    • The British Oceanographic Data Centre (BODC) is a national facility that preserves and distributes oceanographic and marine data and acts as the UK's National Oceanographic Data Centre and part of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission's network of national data centers.
