Part of the US NOAA organisation, the National Ice Center provides data to the global scientific community describing Arctic, Antarctic, Great Lakes and Chesapeake Bay ice conditions. Users can obtain at cost products from the NIC, such as sea ice atlases, information regarding snow and ice conditions in these regions, and links to technical papers, programmes, data archives and supporting institutions.
