    • Department of Soil, Water, and Climate is recognized as one of the premier departments around the country in soil and environmental sciences.     • The nutrition program is a collaborative partnership between COAFES and the College of Human Ecology. The major explores how nutrients and the foods from which they are derived aid the body in health, growth, and development. With major national and international concern for how food and nutrition affect health and disease, registered dietitians and nutritionists have many career opportunities. Students choose one of three options: nutrition, the Coordinated Program in Dietetics, or nutrition science.
