This is the web page of the African Journal of AIDS Research (AJAR). It is a new journal that publishes papers which make an original contribution to the understanding of the social dimensions of HIV/AIDS in African contexts. Any papers relating to care, prevention and social planning will be considered for publication. This will include papers from the disciplines of sociology, demography, epidemiology, psychology, anthropology, media, cultural studies, nursing and social work. Papers on social theory and the politics of HIV/AIDS will also be considered for publication. The web page offers free table of contents and abstracts since 2002, but full texts need to be subscribed.
