      报告摘要:

Recent field measurements show that organic carbon (OC) was one of the major components during haze events in China with contributions ranging from 35% to 80%. It has been suggested that secondary organic aerosol (SOA) could account for a significant fraction of the total observed OC but the magnitude and source contributions to SOA in China have not been extensively studied. We simulated ground level SOA concentrations in China during the entire year of 2013 using a regional 3D air quality model. The model includes treatment of the isoprene gas phase chemistry that leads to the production of isoprene epoxides (IEPOX and MAE), and updated SOA mechanism with updated two-product yields to account for vapor wall loss and SOA formation from reactive surface uptake of dicarbonyls, IEPOX and MAE. Contributions of major anthropogenic (industries, power generation, residential sources, extraction and solvent utilization) and natural (biogenic and wildfire) VOC sources to SOA in China are determined using two different emission inventories. This study provides new insights into the importance of biogenic and anthropogenic emissions on SOA formation in China under different meteorological and emission conditions, a better evaluation of the current levels of SOA concentrations and the contributions of anthropogenic and biogenic sources to SOA loading throughout the country. This is the first time a regional SOA model with recent advances in iSOA treatment has been applied in China. It also represents, to the best of the author’s knowledge, the first study that investigates the sensitivity of source apportionment of SOA to different anthropogenic emission inventories in China.

Show all authors Show footnotes Published:June 17, 2020DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/S1473-3099(20)30471-0 Summary Background As of June 8, 2020, the global reported number of COVID-19 cases had reached more than 7 million with over 400?000 deaths. The household transmissibility of the causative pathogen, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), remains unclear. We aimed to estimate the secondary attack rate of SARS-CoV-2 among household and non-household close contacts in Guangzhou, China, using a statistical transmission model. Methods In this retrospective cohort study, we used a comprehensive contact tracing dataset from the Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention to estimate the secondary attack rate of COVID-19 (defined as the probability that an infected individual will transmit the disease to a susceptible individual) among household and non-household contacts, using a statistical transmission model. We considered two alternative definitions of household contacts in the analysis: individuals who were either family members or close relatives, such as parents and parents-in-law, regardless of residential address, and individuals living at the same address regardless of relationship. We assessed the demographic determinants of transmissibility and the infectivity of COVID-19 cases during their incubation period.

    • Forecasting the Cumulative Number of COVID-19 Deaths in China: a Boltzmann Function-based Modeling Study Cheng Long, Qi Ying, Xinmiao Fu, Zhongyan Li, Yuanyuan Gao doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2020.03.02.20030064 Abstract The COVID-19 outbreak is on-going in China. Here we estimated the potential total numbers of COVID-19 deaths in China, outside Hubei (in China), Hubei Province, Wuhan City and outside Wuhan (in Hubei) by Boltzmann function-based analyses, which are 3342 (95% CI, 3214, 3527), 111 (109, 114), 3245 (3100, 3423), 2613 (2498, 2767) and 627 (603, 654), respectively. The results may help to evaluate the severity of COVID-19 outbreaks and facilitate timely mental service for the families of passed patients. *注,本文为预印本论文手稿,是未经同行评审的初步报告,其观点仅供科研同行交流,并不是结论性内容,请使用者谨慎使用.
