Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database is a project of the Oregon State University, Department of Geosciences. This is a remarkable collection of information dealing with what is likely to be one of the most contentious resource issues of the 21st century - freshwater. It misson is to aid in the assessment of the process of water conflict prevention and resolution.
Databases available at this web site cover historical events in international water relations; international freshwater agreements and treaties; US interstate freshwater compacts; and references to publications on water conflict and publications. The site also contains numerous articles by the project team are also available online.
