  • The significance of defects or adsorption in CaF

-based 2D material MOSFETs is not solely contingent upon the defect energy level; rather, it is also contingent upon the formation energy and transport type of the device. The two tables presented in the article provide a comprehensive demonstration of the impact of defects on performance. Furthermore, this methodology can facilitate the development of a system tool in the future, which will enable the determination of the impact of defects on device performance. Especially worth mentioning is the adsorption of oxygen molecules, which is a more problematic phenomenon than the adsorption of water molecules. To avoid this issue, it is advisable to isolate oxygen as much as possible during device preparation or use objects that do not introduce additional pollution sources to adsorb oxygen. These results mean that the exclusion of adsorbates in device fabrication is as important as growing high-quality channel material to obtain better device performance. The findings of our research can be extrapolated to the significance of different capture centers in a variety of 2D material MOSFETs.

Conners, Radhika Gharpure, Sherry Yin, Sean Buono, Trivikram Dasu, Sanjib Bhattacharyya, Ryan P. Westergaard, Ian W. Pray, Dongni Ye, Scott A. Nabity, Jacqueline E. Tate, Hannah L. Kirking doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2020.05.13.20101006 Abstract Olfactory and taste dysfunctions have emerged as symptoms of COVID-19. Among individuals with COVID-19 enrolled in a household study, loss of taste and/or smell was the fourth most commonly reported symptom (26/42; 62%), and among household contacts, it had the highest positive predictive value (83%; 95% CI: 55-95%) for COVID-19. These findings support consideration of loss of taste and/or smell in possible case identification and testing prioritization for COVID-19. *注,本文为预印本论文手稿,是未经同行评审的初步报告,其观点仅供科研同行交流,并不是结论性内容,请使用者谨慎使用.
