The Flood Hazard Research Centre (FHRC) is an interdisciplinary Research Centre based in the Institute of Social Science Research (ISSR), which is part of the School of Social Science. The Research Centre specialises in the interaction between people and the environment, together with the analysis and appraisal of environmental policies. A large part of the reesearch refers to the management of the water environment.
