The Princeton Ocean Model (POM) is a "sigma coordinate, free surface, ocean model" that has been used for modeling estuaries, coastal regions, basin, and global oceans. The POM web site features background information on the model; a user's guide and other information and tools for users; a list of publications associated with POM; links to organizations and projects that have used POM; an e-mail list and forum for registered users; and links to ocean data sources, national agencies and labs, and organizations.
