  • 粮农组织与国际玉米小麦改良中心建立适应性作物和土壤愿景(VACS)倡议伙伴关系。VACS愿景利用机会作物和建设健康土壤来增强农业对气候变化的适应力并改善饮食,从而建立可持续和有韧性的农业食品系统,强调高粱、小米、豇豆和绿豆等传统作物对粮食安全与营养的重要性,达成“更好的生产、更好的营养、更好的环境和更好的生活”的目标。

    • 10月,中国农业大学联合中国科学院地理科学与自然资源研究所、英国埃克塞特大学等多所高校和研究机构共同开展了关于保护性农业可在气候长期变暖后改善土壤健康并维持作物产量的研究“Conservation agriculture improves soil health and sustains crop yields after long-term warming”。研究表明,在保护性农业条件下,气候变暖对土壤健康的总体积极影响表现为土壤有机碳和微生物生物量碳呈线性增加,气候变暖引起的微生物生物量碳和真菌多样性(腐菌丰富度)的变化与小麦产量在八年内增加9.3%直接相关。总体而言,与传统农业相比,保护性农业使土壤健康状况平均增加21%,并且在长期变暖后支持类似水平的作物生产。该研究为保护性农业对长期可持续粮食生产的潜在好处提供了深刻的见解,因为改善土壤健康可以提高对气候变暖影响的恢复力。
