The Global Hydrology and Climate Center (GHCC) is a joint venture between government and academia to study the effects of the global water cycle on climate. The site provides data on water vapor, tropospheric and stratospheric ozone, atmospheric temperatures, lightning, aerosols, land surface conditions and temperatures, wind, precipitation, insolation, atmospheric chemistry, and related landscape dynamics. One of the features of this site is near real time image feeds in visible, infrared, and water vapor band from geostationary or polar view satellites. The site also contains links to related web resources, a glossary, and public education materials.
