  • ILSI is a global network of scientists devoted to enhancing scientific basis for public health decision-making. Recognizing the need for promoting a better understanding of functional foods in the region, the Functional Food Task Force formed the Asian Expert Panel on Functional Foods in 2001 to provide guidance on scientific and regulatory issues, promote research and develop future directions and strategies.
