The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM)was founded in in 1987, is an independent multi-disciplinary professional and examining body for scientists, engineers, other environmental professionals, students and those committed to the sustainable management and development of water and the environment. The Institution's Mission is to achieve substantial progress towards securing our Vision over the next five years. Each facet of our Vision will be secured through a broad range of activities and performance targets.
