The National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service produces information on the characteristics, extent, and status of the Nation’s wetlands and deepwater habitats. It produce maps and reports, provide quality control, training, technical assistance, and regional liaison. The National Wetlands Inventory Center (NWIC) is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida, providing support for mapping. Our new Wetlands Mapper was developed in cooperation with and is currently being managed through an agreement with USGS in Maddison, Wisconsin。The new Wetlands Mapper is now available.
