WDC-D for glaciology and geocryology was established by Cold and Arid Region Environment and Engineering Institution in 1991. Its aims are to collect, restore, analysis and publish the data involved in Crysophere (ice, frozen soil and snow). The ranges conclude Chinese Crysophere, and some data in Antarctic and Arctic areas. This web site provides information of the following database: snow, ice core, glacier, frozen soil, meteorology, GAME-TIBET. And it also includes the information of Pumqu Basin,China Himalaya, and of the Qinghai_Tibet Railway. Some picture databases are included in the site.
