  • The Center for Limnology was established in July 1982 to plan, conduct, and facilitate inland freshwater research. It presents program builds on these approaches and has expanded to include long-term studies, synthesis, modeling, Great Lakes research, and application to resource managment and environmental issues. This site offers information of the research center, includes its staff and faculties, research activities, news and events. Primary lake information and courses of undergraduate and graduate are given by the web.

    • Limnology is a scientific journal published three times a year, in April, August, and December, by Springer-Verlag in association with the Japanese Society of Limnology. The journal publishes research papers, notes, review articles, Asia/Oceania reports, and comments on physical, chemical, biological, or related research, including environmental issues, on any aspect of theoretical or applied limnology. This web site provides access to tables of contents and abstracts of issues from April 2000 to the present. Access to full articles requires subscription.
