The International Ocean Institute (IOI) promotes education, training, and research dedicated to the peaceful and sustainable use and management of the oceans and coastal spaces. The IOI web site offers information on the Institute, its operational centers and the research conducted at each, and the annual IOI Pacem in Maribus conferences. The site also allows access to IOI publications, including an online newsletter, and provides links to available IOI center home pages and to other related web resources.
