The objectives of KFRI are to increase added values of primary products with resulting increase of producers' income, to provide healthy diets to the consumers public.
and to develop industrial technologies for processing, storage and marketing
of foods and primary products. The KFRI focuses the following efforts:
1 Basic and applied research on science, processing, storage and marketing of agricultural, forestry, livestock and fishery products.
2 Evaluation of the in vitro and in vivo efficacy of natural products from plant and animal origuns.
3 Basic research on food safety for the public health.
4 Innovation in food engineering, machinery, and factory automation.
5 Technical support for food industry by means of technology transfer, firm consulting and training of food industry personnel.
6 Global standardization of key technologies and food products and collaboration with cademic and research organizations at home and abroad.
