  • This website is Dedicated to the conservation and improved management of our waterways, River World will take viewers on a journey down many of the world's great rivers. From the Nile to the Yangtze to the Amazon, the plight of many great waterways will be explored. While we'll learn about inspiring examples of river conservation, we'll also delve into stories of river devastation, providing readers with a greater understanding of the threats that confront our rivers.

    • River Research and Applications is an international journal dedicated to the promotion of basic and applied scientific research on rivers. The journal publishes original scientific and technical papers on biological, ecological, geomorphological, hydrological, engineering and geographical aspects related to rivers in both the developed and developing world. Papers showing how basic studies and new science can be of use in applied problems associated with river management, regulation and restoration are encouraged as is interdisciplinary research concerned directly or indirectly with river management problems. Online edition from volume 18 in 2002 to volume 22 in 2006 are available in pdf format.
