    • 包括智能液体流量计、中继处理机和地下水资源远程管理系统应用软件三部分组成。水资源管理部门的计算机(安装了“地下水远程管理系统软件”的上位机)根据设计的通讯协议,通过电话线通讯,与远端的中继处理机进行连接,根据(上位机)软件与中继处理机的通信协议,由上位机与中继处理机中内嵌的软件程序进行命令、数据交互,中继处理机自动分析和解析上位机发送的各种命令。中继处理机的程序命令指挥其内部的各种电路工作,把应发送和接收的指令、数据通过电话线通讯,上传到管理部门的计算机。“地下水资源远程管理系统”则对接收到的每个水泵的数据信息进行统计、分析,存于数据库中,便于管理部门及时、准确地掌握每个用户的信息。各个智能液体流量计接受中继处理机的命令,互相传递信息或把某个智能液体流量计内的数据传送到中继处理机。    中继处理机与智能液体流量计间采用RS485串行口通讯,中继处理机与管理部门的计算机间采用电话线通讯。形成一个智能化中继通信系统。

    • Burgeoning population and climate change are among the most critical challenges facing the 21st century. Over recent decades, groundwater levels have fallen dramatically in key grain-growing regions like the American Great Plains and the North China Plain. As the population grows and emerging economies like China and India demand more food, especially water intensive meat products, agricultural demand for water is set to increase. The rapid shift of population from the countryside to the cities is also adding to this pressure; most old wells in Beijing are now dry. Pollution from industry, agriculture and shanty towns is destroying many groundwater resources; some could take 50 years to clean up even with strict and immediate controls.   This volume looks at the technical, socio-economic and political problems being faced, and at the developments in groundwater science and management that may help create a sustainable future for our planet.
