Land & Water Australia founded in 1990, is a statutory research and development corporation within the Australian Government Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry portfolio. Its mission is to provide national leadership in generating knowledge, informing debate and inspiring innovation and action in sustainable natural resource management, and aims at the productive and sustainable management of the land, water and vegetation resources underpinning Australia's primary industries and regional communities.
