There are over 15,000 active public water system sources in California. To date, Source Water Assessments have been submitted for over 95% of the sources, and most of these were submitted electronically. Because the full report contains confidential information, only a summary is provided here. Each summary Assessment report includes results from the Assessment, a brief description of the Drinking Water Source Assessment and Protection (DWSAP) program and the procedures used in the Assessment process.
