Launched in 2006, Water Utility Management International is published four times a year. It focuses in particular on the needs and interests of senior water and wastewater utility managers, but is aimed also at regulators, consultants, government departments, academics, financiers and operators, and others following, advising on, and implementing solutions in the area of water utility management.
WUMI provides an international reference point on the strategic management issues affecting water utilities and on the leading management approaches from around the world aimed at responding to these issues.
There is a central theme of achieving efficiency in water utilities, encompassing topics such as benchmarking, billing, tariffs, IT and service standards. In addition, regular themes for articles include financing, regulation, investment, private sector participation, personnel matters, sector reforms and customer services.
These topics are covered in news / analysis articles, interviews, feature articles, and contributed papers aimed at a management-level readership.
