    Abstract

    Background: To study the clinical features and CT manifestations of patients with confirmed 2019-nCoV pneumonia and compare between patients with and without 2019-nCoV infection among all the suspects during the pandemic period.

    Methods: The patients were enrolled from Jan 20 to Feb 1, 2020, at the fever observation department. All the patients with suspected 2019-nCoV infection were tested by RT-­PCR. All the clinical data, laboratory results, imaging findings on CT was retrospectively reviewed.

The epidemiologic and clinical features as well as clinical outcomes were compared between the confirmed and suspected cases.

To our knowledge, the data we reported is the largest single-center cases outside Wuhan by far. This study was focused on the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 in second-generation and above cases. Methods: This was a single center, retrospective study. We collected a total of 197 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed at Chongqing three Gorges Central Hospital from Jan 21 to Feb 8, 2020. The data of epidemiology, demography, comorbidities, clinical characteristics, treatments and results were obtained through the electronic medical record system, and these data were statistically analyzed.
