  • The Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) is the research arm of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). OAR's web site provides information on NOAA's atmospheric, climate, and ocean and coastal research activities, as well as information on the research laboratories, programs, and centers involved with OAR. Visitors may also access educational materials, including the Science with NOAA Research site for K-12 students and teachers.

    • The NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR) is located within the Office of the Director of NIH and is responsible for the scientific, budgetary, legislative, and policy elements of the NIH AIDS research program.Congress has provided broad authority to the OAR to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and fund all NIH AIDS research.
