报告题目：Pragmatic Computing a Semiotic Perspective on Pragmatic Web
报 告 人：Kecheng Liu
The research and application of semantic web has brought us great benefits in information management and collaborative computing. Some issues have not been fully understood and worked out while we seek for a truly effective model for dynamic collaborative computing. The seminar introduces the latest research and advancement in the web applications and systems, coined as pragmatic computing, built particularly on the basis of web technologies and semantic web. Because the currency of the research, this will be a session of presenting important research questions and providing all fully-worked out answers.
Dr. Kecheng Liu, Fellow of the British Computer Society, is a full professor and holds a chair of Informatics. He is Director of Informatics Research Centre (www.irc.rdg.ac.uk), one of the Departments in the Business School, University of Reading, UK.
