Resources and Environment in the Yangtze Basin, co-sponsored by Bureau of Science and Technology for Resources and Environment under National Natural Science and National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Branch, and published by Sciences Press, is the only synthetic and academic publication specializing in the research on the exploration, utilization and protection of all kinds of resources and entironment construction in the Yangtze Basin, as well as social and economic sustainable development. The publication bases itself upon the Yangtze Basin and gear to the markets both at home and abroad, from the angles of ecology, biology, geosciences, economics, environmental science, aims at such key issues as the exploration, utilization and protection, entironment, social and economical sustainable development, integrated management for drainage areas of rivers, lake eutrophication, protection and restoration of wetland, natural disasters in the Yangtze Basin, reports original research results and latest research progress so as to serve for science and social and economical development.
